Writing and publishing your own ebooks is not only fulfilling, it’s also very lucrative. You can write 10-25 pages about the things that you love or passionate about and you can sell them for $5-$30 each. If luck is in your side, you can make up to $3,000 per month. I am pretty sure that this is way better compare to what you’ll make from a regular day time job.

Here’s how you can make money with ebook writing:

1. Know your target audience. You’ll increase your chances of making your ebooks best-sellers if you make them extremely interesting to your potential clients. You cannot do this if you don’t have in-depth knowledge about the people that you would like to serve. Before you even choose the topics to write about, I highly recommend that you obtain as much information about your target readers. Determine the information that they would like to know about, their preferences when it comes to writing style and format, and the other elements that can affect their buying decision.

2. Bank on your skills and expertise. List down all the topics that are extremely interesting to your potential clients and choose those ones that you know very well. You will need to do this to make sure that you’ll be able to offer these people with complete and in-depth information that they will surely appreciate. However, if there are some topics that you would like to target but are not aligned to your areas of expertise (but are extremely in-demand), you may opt to hire ghostwriters or interview an expert so you can still offer your potential clients with the kind of information that they are looking for.

3. Make it easy to understand. Give your readers great reading experience by making your ebooks very easy to understand. These people must be able to get the message that you are trying to get across the first time they read your creations. You can make this happen by using the simplest terms and by incorporating examples and relevant images. If needed, offer your readers with further explanations to promote better understanding.

4. Make it readable. Don’t even think about giving your readers with a whole bunch of text that do not contain page breaks as this could be soar in the eyes. Instead, make your ebooks readable and highly scannable by making sure that your content sound organized and well thought-out. Whenever appropriate, use subheadings and bullet points.
